Hello Saturday.
Made it through another week — and that’s cause for celebration LOL! My weeks can get pretty hectic. As a single mom, working from home full time, homeschooling, and managing the schedules of my two children (one of whom is autistic) there’s a lot to balance. But, God’s grace! There’s no way I could do this without His grace and strength! I’m also very grateful that God has made it so that my sister and I are living together which is a HUGE help and blessing! I am grateful.
I have so much to be grateful for. The last year and eight months have been a lot. Yet, I’m grateful. God is still good even when our circumstances don’t feel that great. God remains the same even when everything around us seems to be changing. God is still strong and able even when we feel like we’re weak and falling a part. God still gives peace when life’s chaos gets a little too chaotic. God’s arms remain open, offering the ultimate comfort, when we can’t gather our emotions. God is faithful. God is gracious. Sometimes my kid just doesn’t want to do school. Period. And, she makes it very clear. “If I were president, I would cancel school forever!” Her words as we struggled to get our school day started. There are so many beautiful blogs and Instagram accounts of homeschool families where their experiences always look so well put together. Even their struggle days look like beautiful chaos. So, yesterday I was sitting on the couch with my sister. I forgot what we were initially talking about but in what seemed a random moment, she looked up from her phone and said to me, “Crystal, I went to your site early.
